With its most recent version, Telegram has introduced a few highly sought features to the messaging service that supports encryption. Improved night mode for iOS, real-time text transcription for video communications with Telegram Premium, and other features are among them.
All of these new features and changes to the user interface are outlined in detail in the official blog post published in conjunction with the upgrade. Among the highlights are:
Groups with more than 200 members may now activate topics and make specific places for each topic.
Authentic Usernames: You may now give each of your accounts and public chats more than one collectable username in addition to your standard username.
Video Message Voice-to-Text: Instant text transcripts for video messages are now provided only to paying Telegram Premium subscribers.
Interactive emoji and new emoji packs: Twelve new emoji sets have been finished by Telegram artists. There are now 4 additional interactive emoji 😴👨💻🤓👀 that may be used as replies and perform full-screen effects in one-on-one discussions.
Improvements to iOS's Night Mode: For a more pleasurable scrolling experience, colors on devices running Apple's mobile OS are now more evenly matched.
Android Text Resizing: Changing the text size in the chat settings now enlarges all chat text, including reply headers, link previews, and more.
Minor design enhancements include the addition of a new animation when you swipe left to reply, the availability of call choices in a new menu, and the display of pulsating placeholders while messages are loaded.
According to the Telegram team, Apple took two weeks to assess the upgrade before it could be released, which prevented it from becoming live before Halloween. Having said that, it is now accessible on all of the platforms that Telegram supports.
